BIOGRAPHY
William M. Farrell
William M. Farrell son of Michael and Mary McGlynn Farrell be was bon on May 14 1922 in Greenwich and grew up In Rye. In Rye his family lived at
70 Theodore Fremd Avenue
and were members of the Church of the Resurrection. William was a Rye High School Graduate, Class of 1941.
He enlisted and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
After the war, William was a member of the Rye Volunteer Fire Department. He married Gloria Peterson on June 4, 1955 at the Church of the Assumption in Schodack Landing, NY. At the time, William was employed with the Addressograph Multigraph Corp and the couple would reside in Albany.
William moved to to West Haven CT. in 1963. He worked as a salesman for the Milford branch of the A B Dick Co.
William was a past Grand Knight of the Father Curtin Council of the Knights of Columbus in West Haven. William was a Faithful Navigator of the Father Curtin Assembly and a past president of the West Haven Club of the K of C. He also belonged to the American Legion in West Haven.
William M Farrell a former Rye resident, died at the Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven May 23,1980. He was 58
At the time of his death he was survived by his wife Gloria Peterson Farrell , a son David M Farrell of Bridgeport, a sister Mrs William (Anne) Dianni of Rye, a brother
