Warren S. Hickox

Warren S. Hickox was born in Port Chester, New York January 21, 1922 son of Clarence and Aurilia E Stickle Hickox. He had a brother Richard and a sister Patricia. In Rye his family lived at 42 Sanford St..

Warren was a Rye High School Graduate, Class of 1940 and was attending Miami University when he joined the Naval Air Force during the war.

He served as an officer in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Warren attended Naval Flight School and was a Navy Pilot during the war.

On April 17, 1948, he married Miss Jean Mathews, of Melbourne, Australia. Warren was a commercial pilot for the Australian Air Lines.

Warren Stickle Hickcox died April 26, 1997 in Melbourne, Australia
