Walter H. Brasa

Walter Henry Brasa was born on May 5, 1920, to Pauline Brasa, age 36, and Michael Brasa, age 38. In Rye he lived at 24 locust Lane. Before the war Walter worked at Troy's Nursery in Bedford NY.

Walter enlisted in 1941 and served as a Fireman 1st Class in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II.


He married Evelyn Sue Platt in Ashtabula, Ohio in August 1942 and they would have one daughter. After the war he worked for an electric supply company in Ohio.

Walter Henry Brasa died on April 22, 1995, in Marion, Florida, at the age of 74 and is buried at Florida National Cemetery.
