Thomas G. Jordan

When Thomas Gregory Jordan was born on May 9, 1921, in Bronx, New York, his father, Thomas, was 26 and his mother, Agnes, was 21. In Rye his family lived on 13 Redfield St. He had two sisters Agnes and Dorothy and a brother Gerald. In 1940 at the age of 18, Thomas was a middle child. Thomas's father was 43 and his mother was 39. Thomas's father had an elementary education, while his mother had a high school education. Thomas's father was born in New York and his mother was born in Brooklyn, New York. Thomas and his siblings were born in New York. The census worker recorded Thomas's father's occupation as an Electrical Contractor.

Thomas enlisted and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He married in April 1945 in Surrey, England. He had two children during his marriage.

He died on October 3, 2001, in Cheshire, Connecticut, at the age of 80.
