BIOGRAPHY
Salvatore A. DeCicco
Salvatore A. DeCicco was born in Rye Neck on Sept. 30, 1909, son of the late Vincent James and Madeline Bruno DeCicco. He had four brothers Frank , James ,
Harry
and
Victor
and two sisters Florence and Mary. In Rye his family lived at
12 Archer Place
. Salvatore was educated in Rye schools and his family were members of the Church of the Resurrection.
Salvatore enlisted March 12, 1942 and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was honorably discharged September 17, 1945 after 3 1/2 years of service
He was a member of the Rye Memorial Post of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and of the Rye American Legion Post.
Salvatore DeCicco, 62, of 116 Bradford Ave. died suddenly Wednesday August 9, 1972 at his home.
At the time of his death, he was survived by a sister, Mrs. Florence Cardone of the home address; three brothers, James of Port Chester, Harry of Rye, and Victor of Fort Collins, Colo.; five ' nieces and eight nephews.
The funeral Mass of the Resurrection was held at the Church of the Resurrection.
