BIOGRAPHY
Percival L Ferris
Percival L Ferris was born on February 4, 1915 in Port Chester, New York, to Myrtle Strang, age 21, and Percival Charles Ferris, age 19. He had two sisters Gertrude and Arlene and in Rye his family lived at
661 Milton Road
and were members of Christ's Church.
Percival enlisted January 21, 1944, when he was 28 years old. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Percival had three sons and one daughter with Mary E Kane. After the war he was employed by the County of Westchester.
Percival L. Ferris, 57, of 626 Milton Road, died Saturday May 19,1973 at United Hospital, after a long illness.
At the time of his death he was by his wife, Mary Kane Ferris of the home address; a daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Pietrafeso of Port Chester; three sons, Daniel of Rye; Leroy of Florida; and nine grandchildren
Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Hill Funeral Home, Interment was in Greenwood Union Cemetery.
