Paul Martell De La Chesnaye

Paul Martell De La Chesnaye was born on April 11, 1928, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, to Dorothy "Dora" Helen Mitchell, age 20, and Jean Harford Martel de la Chesnaye, age 23. In Rye his family lived at 23 Mohawk Street.

On Way to China
S/1C Paul de la Chesnaye, of 23 Mohawk Street, serving in the U. S. Navy aboard the destroyer "DD 877," is now on his way to China after stops at Honolulu, Guam and Saipan. Engaged in signal work, he does not expect to return until next winter.
