BIOGRAPHY
John G. Andrew
John G. Andrew was born in Port Chester Dec 10, 1910 to John and Jemina Gordon Andrew, he was a 1928 graduate of Rye High School and New York University.
He had three brothers and in Rye his family lived at
199 Purchase St.
.
He married Ruth Louise Loew on October 7, 1939 and they had one son.
John served as an officer in the U.S. Navy during World War II. he served 2 1/2 years stationed primarily in the Northeast US.

After the war he was an accountant for Arnold Bakers in Greenwich and had worked in the Wall Street offices of the Bank of New York.
John was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Port Chester.
John G. Andrew of 33 William Street in Greenwich died Friday October 15,1977 at Westchester County Medical Center in Valhalla after a brief illness.
At the time of his death, he was survived by his wife, Ruth Loew Andrew, and a son, John B., of the home address, and three brothers,
