James Claude Adams was born on August 29, 1922, in New London, Connecticut. He married Jeanne Marie McKeever on November 2, 1947, in Greenwich, Connecticut. In Rye his family lived at 34 Middon PL. James was a Rye High School Graduate, Class of 1940. He enlisted and served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.

 OBITUARY
James C. Adams, 76, of North Palm Beach, Fla died Monday at Baptist Hospital East. He was a native of Rye, N.Y.; a retired chief financial-market analyst for General Electric Co.; an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II; and a member of the Quarterback Club. Survivors: his wife, the former Ber-nice Kinns; daughters Janice A. Bon-ham, Jyl A. LaVera and Susan Adams; a stepdaughter, Karen E. Christie; and eight grandchildren.
