Harry J. Greechan

Harry J Greechan was born on March 15, 1922, in Harrison, New York, to Rose M Cassan Wattis, age 31, and Hugh Josesph Greechan, age 30. He had one brother Hugh Jr. and in Rye his family lived at 46 Park Ave and were members of the Church of the Resurrection.

Harry enlisted and served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a Private, Battery C , 15th Coast Artillery, Ewa, Honolulu, Hawaii,. He was stationed at Pearl Harbor when the Japanese attacked on December 7, 1941.




After the war Harry married Ann V. Veres. He would go on to serve his country as a MSGT in the in Korean War. He would retire from the U.S. Air Force on June 30, 1961.


Harry J Greechan died on January 17, 2001, when he was 78 years old. He was buried with full military honors at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington County, Virginia, United States of America
