BIOGRAPHY
Halsey J. lll Munson was born in Connecticut in 1907. In Rye his family lived at 305 Glen Avenue. Halsey enlisted and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

He waa advertising manager of Creative Age Press to New York City He also bad been a literary agent and an editor tor the Bobbt-Merrill Publishing Co and head of the library department at Harper and Bros Publishers both In New York City Bora in Greenwich
Mr Mun-n lived In Port Chester several years during Ms boyhood and flor more than 20 years had been resident of Rye where he was a member of Christ's Church He was the son of Beta White Munson of Rye and the late Harry C Munson Mr Munson was a 1931 graduate of Trinity College In Hartford
Surviving are Ms mother Bin Rets White Munson hia wife Mar guerite Stockbridge Hoyle Munson of the home address a son Halsey IV a brother Russell Davies Vimunn of Port Chester two slaters Mrs Robert E Kelley of Greenwich and Mrs John Warner of Bedford Village and several nieces and nephews
