BIOGRAPHY
Frank F. Ebetino
Frank Frederick Ebetino was born on January 12, 1927, in Rye, New York. In Rye his family lived at
17 W Purdy Ave
and were members of the Church of the Resurrection. Frank was a Rye High School Graduate, Class of 1944. He enlisted and served in the U.S. Army for 30 months during World War II.
After the war, Frank married Betty Arline Tuthill on June 24, 1950, in Riverhead, New York. The couple would live in Norwich NY.
Frank joined Norwich Pharmacal Co. in 1949 after receiving his B. S. degree in chemistry from Ohio University. He later earned an M. S. degree at Lehigh University ' while on leave from the company and returned in 1955 as chief of the organic chemistry section.
Frank held that position until his promotion to head up the Chemistry Division. The former Rye resident had some 25 scientific publications and patients to his credit and had presented portions of these studies at scientific meetings in this country and England.
Frank was a member of the American Chemical Society and its Medicinal Chemistry Division and belonged to the New York Academy of Sciences.
