Edwin B. Peterson
Edwin Beers Peterson was born on May 8, 1920, in New York to Jessie Marguarite Beers, age 30, and Frank August Peterson, age 30. He had one brother Wilbur and in Rye his family lived at 17 Meadow Place.
Edwin was a Rye High School Graduate, Class of 1938. In school he was very active in clubs and sports playing varsity football and baseball.
Edwin continued his education and graduated from Colgate University in 1942. He enlisted February 19, 1943 and served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.

He married Roberta M Nelson on August 1, 1945. They would have three children during their marriage. Edwin was honorably discharged February 12, 1946
In 1950 his new family were living and New Rochelle and Edwin was working in sales for a manufacturing company.
Edwin Beers Peterson died in July 1987 in Bella Vista, Arkansas, at the age of 67.
At the time of his death, he was survived by his wife Roberta, Craig (Diane), Claudia (William) Gruber and the late Janet (Walter) Lemiska; grandchildren Michael, Eric and Kevin Peterson, William and Daniel Gruber and Erin Lemiska.
