BIOGRAPHY
Anthony Sarachino
Anthony Sarachino was born on June 22 1913 to Michael Sarachino and Rosaria Paternostro Sarachino. He had three sisters Mildred, Violet and Rose along with two brothers
Leonard
and
Frank
. Anthony attended Rye High School.
In Rye his family lived at
46 High Street
and were members of the Church of the Resurrection. Anthony enlisted and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Anthony was a professional golfer for more than 25 years at Cherry Lawn Golf Range In New Rochelle
Anthony (Happy) Sarachino a life-long Rye resident was found dead in his apartment on Dec 27, 1981. He was 68.
At the time of his death he was survived by a brother Leonard of Port Cheater and three sisters Mrs Michael (Mary) Iantorno Mrs Nicholas (Rose) Federico of Port Chester and Mrs Hany (Viola) Burlone of Rye
