Alexander L. Taylor

Coast Artillery Corps - Alexander Lindsay Taylor was born on May 3, 1916, in New York City, New York, his father, Alexander, was 37 and his mother, Madeline, was 26. He married Cherry Grafton Taylor on February 19, 1944, in Greenwich, Connecticut. They had five children during their marriage. In Rye his family lived at Apawamis Ave and were members of the Presbyterian Church. Alexander served as an officer in the U.S. Army during World War II. He died on May 23, 2003, in Exeter, New Hampshire, at the age of 87.
