Robert B. Hendron

Robert B. Hendron was born on April 20, 1925, in Rye, New York, his father, Edward, was 44 and his mother, Mary, was 41. He had 3 siblings, Ruth, Edward and Marion. In Rye his family lived at 62 Grapel St. and were members of the Church of the Resurrection. Robert was a Rye High School Graduate, Class of 1942. He served as an officer in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Robert B. Hendron, petty officer in the U. S. Navy, has returned after fifteen months on Maui, Hawaii, and has completed an eight-day visit with his mother, Mrs. E. J. Hendron, 65 Palisade Road, He is now at the Naval Air Technical Training Center, Chicago, for advanced training in hydraulics. A graduate of Rye High School, he entered the service two years ago.

He married Margaret Winch on September 2, 1946, in his hometown. They had two children during their marriage. Robert attended Kent State University and was an accountant.


He died in March 19,1979 in Yonkers, New York, at the age of 53.
