BIOGRAPHY
Marie L. Malsch Krois
Marie L. Malsch was born in Connecticut on 17 May 1917 to Henry and Elizabeth Garretson Malsch. She had one sister Elise and in Rye her family lived on Locust Lane. Marie was a Rye High School Graduate, Class of 1934.
She enlisted April 1943 and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Marie served as a Navy nurse and was stationed at the Brooklyn Naval Hospital.
After the war she was a nurse secretary for Dr. Higgins in Rye. Marie married George Krois in 1951 and they would have a daughter during their marriage.
Marie L. Malsch Krois died Saturday June 15, 1963 at the Greenwich Hospital. At the time of her death, she was survived by her husband George Krois, daughter Deborah, mother Mrs. Elizabeth Malsch and her sister Elise Tillman of Riverdale, NY.
