BIOGRAPHY
 
Frank Belluscio

Frank Belluscio was born March 18, 1918 in New York City to Vito and Carmela Isoldi Belluscio. In Rye his family lived at 350 Midland Ave and were members of the Church of the Resurrection. Frank attended Rye schools and graduated from Rye High School. In the late thirties Frank was very active in the Rye YMCA. He also was a heavyweight fighter with Don Bosco Club in Portchester NY.

On September 24, 1939 he married Rose Passarelli at Holy Rosary Church in Port Chester, NY.

Frank enlisted April 27, 1944 and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was honorably discharged September 12, 1945.

After the war, Frank worked as a driver and installer for Rye Fuel and Supply Co. Inc. He was a parishioner at Corpus Christi Church.

Frank Belluscio, Sr. of Rye Brook, NY died on January 2, 2001. He was 82.

At the time of his death he was survived by his wife, Rose Belluscio of Rye Brook, NY; son, Frank Belluscio, Jr. of Rye Brook; daughters, Linda Peterson of Rye Brook, Carol Serman of Brewster and Nancy Borek of Harrison; brother, Joseph Belluscio of Florida; 8 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. Family members who died earlier include his father, mother, brother, Michael Belluscio and sister, Ann Woodtke.

A Memorial Mass was held at Corpus Christi Church January 15, 2001
