BIOGRAPHY
Joseph G. Bugniazet
Joseph Gerard Bugniazet was born on August 10, 1908, in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey, his father, Gustave, was 29 and his mother, Mary, was 25. He had two brothers Edward and
Louis
.
Joseph attended Ridgefield Park schools and was a graduate of Fordham Prep, Fordham Univ. and Fordham Law School. In Rye his family lived at
4 Horton St.
and were members of the Church of the Resurrection.
Joseph enlisted and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He served in the Field Artillery from November 27,1942 until his honorable discharge on October 31,1945
After the war Joseph was a prominent lawyer and member of the NY State Bar Association. He was also a member of the Rye Republican Club and the Rye Fire and Police Patrol.
Joseph died in August 6th 1981 at the age of 73.
At the time of his death he was survived by his wife Florence and his two brothers.
