BIOGRAPHY
Walter Walsh
Walter Joseph Walsh was born on February 12, 1920, in Port Chester, New York, to Margaret Anne Kenny , age 35, and Walter Walsh, age 30. He had one brother, William, and a sister Mary.
Locally his family lived at 68 Grace Church St. and were members of the Church of the Resurrection.
Walter enlisted and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Walsh served as a corporal In the Army
On June 28, 1953, Walter married Adeline Zanno at Our Lady of Mercy church in Port Chester. He was a parishioner of Corpus Christi Church In Port Chester.
Walter was a maintenance man at Westchester Country Club in Harrison for 38 years until his retirement in 1988.
Walter Joseph Walsh died on July 16, 1995, in Port Chester, New York, when he was 75 years old.
He was 'survived by a sister Mary Ninno of Port Chester. His wife died in 1970, A brother, William also died earlier.
