Charles A. Simonson was born in New York in 1910. In Rye his family lived on Laurel Street. Charles enlisted in 1944 and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Miss C. M. Howard To Be BrideToclay Of C A. Simonson Miss Celia Merriam Howard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John R. Howard of Marline Avenue, will become the bride this afternoon of Charles A. Simonson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Simonson of St George, S. I. The wedding will be performed at the heme of the bride's parents with the Rev. Rob ert B. Rock, associate minister of Crescent Avenue Presbyterian Church, officiating. A reception Will IOllOW. Attending the bride will be Mrs. John E. Grundy of Rye, N. Y., as matron of honor; Miss Dorothy Spauld-ing, Boston, Mass., Miss Phyllis Howard, Old Greenwich Conn., a cousin of the bride, and Mrs. John M. Hamilton, Riverside, Conn. The best man will be Paris Scott Russell Jr. of Staten Island. The bride attended Low-Heywood School, Stamford, Conn., and was graduated from the School of Nurs ing of the Presbyterian Hospital in New York, class of 1934, and has since been following her profession at the Babies' Hospital at Medical Center, New York. The bridegroom attended New York Military Academy and Dartmouth College. He is a member of the Richmond County Country Club and is associated with the New York branch of the Employers' Liability Assurance Company of London, Eng. The couple will reside at Rye, N. Y., after a wedding trip. The bride's father is superintendent of Muhlenberg Hospital.
