BIOGRAPHY
Thomas F. Orr was born in New York in 1913. In Rye his family lived at 21 elmwood Ave. Thomas enlisted and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Thomas Foster Orr 66 of Byrd Road Dalzell died Wednesday morning at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Columbia Bom in Portchester N Y he was the son of the late Foster and Caroline McGuire Orr
Mr Orr was retired from the US Air Force and was employed by the Pinkerton Security Service
Survivors include his wife Peggy Merrifield Orr of Dalzell a son Timothy E Orr of the home two daughters Caroline M Davis of Elgin AFB Florida and Barbara J Orr of the home a brother William F Orr of El Paso Texas and a sister Beverly Queen of Escondito Calif
Graveside services will be at 2 pm Thursday in the National Cemetery in Florence with full military rites The Rev John J Leddy will officiate Memorial contributions may be made to the SC Lung Association The family is at the home Shelley-Brunson Funeral Home is in charge
