Leonard R. Inglis
Leonard R. Inglis was born Dec 18 1927 in Port Chester to Joseph and Grace Robinson Inglis. He had one brother Joseph. In Rye his family lived at
190 Central Ave
.
Leonard was a Rye High School Graduate, Class of 1945. In high school he played baseball all four years and was a member of the Dance and Concert Bands.
He enlisted and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
On Jan 22 1956 be and Phyllis A Krisando were married at Holy Trinity Church in Mamaroneck, NY. They would have four sons and three daughters.
Leonard worked for the A&P grocery store chain for 44 years. He retired as' manager of the Port Chester store in 1993.
Leonard R. Inglis Sr , lifelong Rye resident died Monday at Westchester County Medical Center in Valhalla He was 67.
At the time of his death, in addition to his wife, survivors included sons Leonard, John, William and Rory and daughters Patricia Peppe of Clearwater Fla, Joan Maloney and Phyllis of Rye and six grandchildren His brother Joseph died earlier
