Edward J Hendron was born in New York in December 7, 1918 to Edward and Mary Beckett Hendron. He had 3 siblings, Ruth, Robert and Marion. In Rye his family lived at 62 Grapal St. and were members of the Church of the Resurrection. Edward was a Rye High School Graduate, Class of 1936. He enlisted in 1942 and served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.
