INJURY ON SHIP PROVES FATAL TO C. A. EVERS
Former Vice-President of Lawyers Mortgage Co. Ailing Five Months ' Pacific coast, later being employed by the United States Mortgage and Trust Company In 1903 he began his connection with the Lawyers' Mortgage Company. Prior to his retirement three years ago Mr. Evers resided in Elmsfort, Westchester County, and commuted to his office In Brooklyn. He held a lively interest in Brooklyn affairs and became a member of the Brooklyn Club. He was also a member of St. George's Society and the English Speaking Union. His second wife, Enas Agnew Eveis, an Englishwoman, riled In Italy several years ago. Fo, owing his retirement In 1933 Mi. Evers went to Europe where he spent most of his time in England.
Surviving are six children, Dorothy, Rosemaiy, Cecil A . Jr., Arthur, Richard and Patrick. Burial will take place in the Moravian Cemetery, New Dorp, 8. I. where the deceaseds first wife is burled.

Surviving are a brother. Ma. C. Calvert Vans Evers (USAF Ret.), Tampa; a half-brother, Arthur Robert Evers, Rye, N.Y., and two half-sisters, Miss Dorothy C. Evers, Tampa, and Mrs. Rosemary C. E. Bustanoby, Beverly, New Jersey.
