Ellis Knowles of Rye, who won the US Senior Golf Open several times called him the Michelangelo of golf. Claude Harmon of Winged Foot called him the King of Clubs.
His talents as a club craftsman were highlighted on the TV show , Wall Street Journal Report. Joseph was a long time member of the PGA and a communicant of Resurrection Church.
Joseph Antinozzi, pro golfer and area businessman and owner of White Dot Golf Shop died Friday, December 1, 1984 after a long illness. He was 77.
