Daniel P. Gagliardo

Daniel P. Gagliardo was born in New York in 1921 to Frank and Grace Roberto Gagliardo. He had four brothers and three sisters and he was raised and educated in Rye. In Rye his family lived on 107 Maple Avenue and were members of the Church of the Resurrection.

Daniel enlisted and served in U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. After the war he spent his carrer with the NY State Thruway Authority.

Daniel's two brothers Frank Gagliardo and Anthony Gagliardo were wounded in action during the war. Another brother Samuel Gagliardo was killed in action in 1944.

Daniel P. Gagliardo died August 23, 2003 in Long Beach, Long Island
