William Wood Struthers was born on September 26, 1919, in New York, his father, William, was 32 and his mother, Mary, was 23. He had three sisters. He married on July 19, 1941, in Forsyth, North Carolina. He died in 1961 at the age of 42. In Rye his family lived on Milton Rd and were members of Christ Church. William served as an officer in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.

WILLIAM W. STRUTHERS JR. Funeral services for William Wood Struthers Jr., 41, a partner in Henderson, Harrison & Struthers, stockbrokers, of 40 Wall St., will be held at 11 A.M. tomorrow at Christ Church, Rye, N.Y. He died Saturday night of a heart attack at his home on Grandview Ave., Rye.
