BIOGRAPHY
Thomas R Petrucelli
Thomas R Petrucelli was born October 31, 1922 in Rye to John and Mary Inglese Petrucelli. He had four brothers and four sisters. In Rye his family lived at
224 Central Ave.
and they were parishioners of the Church of the Resurrection. Thomas was a Rye High School Graduate, Class of 1941.
Thomas served in the Army Air Force Special Services during World War II.
After the war, he received a Bachelor of Science degree at Ithaca College Department of Music and his master's degree in music at SUNY, Potsdam. Before retirement, He was a teacher at Carthage Central School, NY, where he taught music for 28 years.
Thomas was a member of the New York State Retired Teachers' Association, Carthage Elks Club and the Carlowden Country Club. He was a past member of St. James Catholic Church.
He played in area dance bands and enjoyed golfing, gardening and carpentry.
Thomas R. Petrucelli, 81, died Oct. 2, 2004, in Port St. Lucie. He was born in Rye, N.Y., and lived in Port St. Lucie.
