BIOGRAPHY
 
Leon I. Morgan was born in New York on 1904. In Rye his family lived at 35-37 Summet Ave. Leon served as an officer in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.

Dr. Leon Morgan Home from Military Service Overseas Dr. Leon I. Morgan has returned from military service overseas with the U. S. Army Air Force and will resume the practice of dentistry at his former office, 22 Purchase Street, on June 3. Dr. Morgan practiced in Rye from 1929 to 1943 when he was commissioned a lieutenant in the Dental Corps. He spent a year in this country and was then sent to England, retiring with the rank of captain. Before entering the service he was School Dentist at the Rye School and president of the Suburban Dental Study Club. PAGE TWELVE T H E RYE CHRONICLE Friday, June 7, 1946
