William Wood was born on April 10, 1895, in Stamford, Connecticut, his father, Henry, was 38 and his mother, Hester, was 42. He married Lena Ravin on July 7, 1928, in Rye, New York. He had three brothers. In Rye his families address remains unknown. William enlisted and served in the unknown branch during World War II.
