BIOGRAPHY
 
Thomas A. Moore

Thomas A. Moore was born in Rye, September 3, 1906, the son of Daniel A. Moore and Mary M Stollenmaier Moore. He had one brother Herbert and he and Thomas attended Rye public schools. In Rye his family lived at 25 Brookdale Place and were members of the Church of the Resurrection.

Thomas enlisted and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He served overseas during World War II with the U. S. Army Signal Corps.

After the war Thomas worked as a cable splicer for the New York Telephone Company. He retired in 1956 and moved with his wife to Florida.

Funeral services were held Friday in Naples, Fla., for Thomas A. Moore, a former Rye resident, who died there January 4, 1966.

In addition to his mother, he was survived by his wife, Mrs. Kay Hart Moore and five aunts and uncles, some living in Germany
