A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Church of the Resurrection for Joseph Henry Inglis, Jr., 44, of 45 Clinton Avenue, who died Tuesday at United Hospital where he had been a patient for two weeks Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
A lifelong resident of Rye, he was born on March 22, 1931, son of the late Grace Robinson and Joseph Henry Inglis, Sr. Mr. Inglis had been a starter at the Rye Golf Club since the club's opening 10 years ago. A graduate of Rye High School, he was a member of the Church of the Resurrection, a past president of the Rye Triple A and a member of the Westchester Caddy Masters Association. He served in the U.S. Army Field Artillery from 1955 to 1956. He is survived by a brother, Leonard Richard Inglis of Rye; four nephews and three nieces.
