Curtice "C." Bickford Henchey was born on February 11, 1929. His father was Paul E. Henchey, who was born in Kentucky in 1903. Paul E. Henchey moved to Rye, New York and was a Stockbroker. He married Dorothy Henchey, mother to C. Bickford Henchey, who was born in 1907 in New York. Bickford had a younger brother, Paul E. Henchey Junior, who was born in 1932. C. Bickford Henchey lived at 9 Glendale Avenue in Rye, New York with his brother and both of his parents. Bickford attended Rye High School and graduated in the class of �47. Following high school, Henchey attended the Wharton School of Finance and Commerce of the University of Pennsylvania class of �52. He was also a member of the Apawamis Club and Shenorock Shore Club in Rye, New York and the St. Anthony Club of New York. C. Bickford Henchey went on to proudly serve his country during the Korean War.
