John G Feeley was born on March 2nd, 1932 to parents John Feeley and Carthina Feeley. His father, John Feeley senior, was an Assistant Postmaster and the head of the local Rye softball league. He had one older sister named Carlyn Feeley who was about 7 years older than him, born in 1925. John lived in Rye with his parents and older sister on Orchard Avenue. Throughout high school, John was a very active member of his community, partaking in a series of volunteer programs and sports clubs. As a senior in High School, John was in charge of selling tickets for a number of events associated with both his High School as well community events, including his school's High School Football dinner and a Thanksgiving party organized by his church. The church he attended was Resurrection church. After graduating from Rye High School in 1950, John Feeley enlisted in the US Navy later that same year. He died on September 10th, 2008.
