Lincoln Burgess, a life long resident of Rye, passed away on October 21, 2009. Born in Port Chester on March 16, 1934, the son of Evart Burgess and Josephine Bozak. Mr. Burgess served in the US Army and was employed as a custodian at Rye High School. He was an avid boating enthusiast. He is survived by his three children: Lincoln M. Burgess, Tracy Drago and Glenn Westerink all of Rye; two sisters; Barbara Miller and Bernice Hayden and five grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Graham Funeral Home on Friday October 23, from 4 to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of the Resurrection on Saturday at 10 AM.
