Gregory O. Miller MANAHAWKIN - Gregory O. Miller, 73, formerly of Titusville, died Tuesday at home.
Born in Detroit, MI, Mr. Miller grew up in Rye, NY and attended Rye High School. After school, Greg joined the U.S. Air Force and served in the Korean War. He was active as a coach for both Little League Baseball and Hopewell Township soccer teams.
Greg was employed by the Dow Jones Company as chief pilot from 1960 to 1992. He retired to Manahawkin where he was an active member of the Old Guard #22 Stafford Stags. He enjoyed fishing, entertaining his grandchildren and dining out.
Son of the late Douglas and Ann Sheeran Miller, and brother of the late Douglas Miller, he is survived by his wife of 50 years, Barbara Burgess Miller; two sons, Greg Miller of Media, PA and Tom Miller from North Kingston, RI; a sister, Sally Barnum of Chatham NY; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the Wilson-Apple Funeral Home, 2560 Pennington Road, Pennington. Friends may call Friday from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Harbourton Cemetery, Harbourton.
