THOMAS W. BEATON
Thomas William Beaton, 41, of 590 Milton Road, died suddenly last Thursday, at United Hospital. He was a lifetime resident of Rye. He is survived by his wife, the former Joan Waggoner, two daughters, Jayne and Deborah, and a son, Thomas William Beaton, Jr., his mother, Mrs. Leslie Beaton of Brewster, Mass., formerly of Rye, and his sister. Mrs. Roy W. Robinson of Milton Road.
Mr. Beaton attended Rye public schools and was a graduate of Becker Junior College in Worcester, Mass. During the Korean conflict he served with the United States Coast Guard. He was a member of the American Yacht Club for many years. Mr. Beaton was in the advertising sales department of Boating Magazine and advertising manager of the Photographic Society of American Journal.
