BIOGRAPHY
Cornelius P. Arley
Cornelius P. Arley was born in Montpelier April 18 1927 son of Dr Paul and Lulu (Dodte) Arley. In Rye his family lived at 7 Berand Ave.
Cornelius was graduated from Staunton Military Academy in Staunton Va, Syracuse University and the Chiropractic Institute New York where he was a member of Lamda Chi Beta fraternity also a veteran of World War II having served in the U S Navy.

He married to Barbara Jenkinson
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Jenkins of Northfield Falls, VT. on January 1, 1950.
Cornelius was a member of American Legion Post 93 of Port Chester N Y also Mamaroneck, NY Lodge 863 F4AM. He was a member of District No 1 Metropolitan Chiropractic Assn of New York the alumni association of the Chiropractic Institute of New York of the Vermont Connecticut and Florida Chiropractic Assns and the First Methodist Church New Rochelle N Y
Dr Paul Cornelius Arley 32 died October 1, 1959 in Yonkers N Y hospital after a long illness
At the time of his death survivors included his widow three small daughters Patricia, Brenda and Donna also his parents Dr and Mrs. Paul Arley one sister Dr Constance Brown of Old Greenwich Conn .
Funeral services were held at the United Church in Northfield. Funeral services were also be held on Monday in Port Chester N Y Burial was in Mt Hope Cemetery in Northfield, VT.
