Peter James Rahill, architectural artist, formerly of Rye, NY, Central Valley, NY, and Nyack, NY, died at his home in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on April 19, 2001 at the age of 70.
He was born September 22, 1930 in Bronx, NY. He is survived by the mother of his five children, Eileen Rahill of Monroe, NY; and children, Kathy Banks of Miami, FL, Tom Rahill of Plantation, FL, Susan Johnson of Monroe, NY, Rosemary Couchot of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Michael Rahill of Melrose, MA; and one sister, Rosemary Angelilli of Crestwood, NY; eight grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Rahill was one of the nation's foremost architectural artists and also created pencil drawings of historic landmarks. Many of his prints are displayed in Hudson Valley, NY and in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
As an artist he was unique and as a man he was loved by many. He will be greatly missed.
