Edwin C. Larder, 80, of Huntsville passed away Tuesday. Mr. Larder retired as structures manager from USBI. Ed was raised in Mamaroneck, N.Y., and resided in Rye, N.Y., before moving to Huntsville in 1980. Ed was a graduate of Auburn University. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Larder; son, Eric Larder of Huntsville; daughter, Kristin Barnett of Huntsville; granddaughters, Brittany Barnett and Katherine Barnett; nephews, David Hall and wife Barbara, Michael Hall and wife Ingrid, Donn Hall and wife Betsy and Gregory Hall and wife Jennifer; seven great-nephews; and two great-nieces. Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. today at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The memorial service will follow at 6 p.m. with Pastor Blair Clark officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran Church and School.
