Jules was born on 9/9/1946 and lived in Virginia Beach, Va. for many years. He passed away at the age of 66 on 10/4/2012 at the home of his son, Joseph, in Williamsburg, Va. He was the uncle of professional wrestler Amy Dumas, professionally known as "Lita". Jules went by his preferred nickname of "Jarhead" and served as a Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.
