George E. Mansell was born in Connecticut in 1898. In Rye his family lived at 30 Radcliffe Ave.. George served as an officer in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II.

GEORGE E. MANSELL, SR. Funeral services were held Monday at the William H. Graham Funeral Home for George Evan Mansell, Sr., 66, a resident oi' Rye for 50 years, who died Friday afternoon at United Hospital, where he had been a patient for one day.

Mr. Mansell, who was an Army veteran of both World War I and II, lived at 11 Ridgeland Terrace. He was born in the Bronx, October 14, 1898, the son of the late George Evan and Anna G. Mansell. H was employed as a pump mechanic with the John P. Harris Pump Co. of Port Chester for the past 20 y ears.

He is survived by two sons, George Evan Jr. and Warren Bruce Mansell, both of the home address, and a brother, Allen, of Quaker Springs, N. Y.

Interment was in Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale, N Y.
